About Sophy
I am a trained humanistic counsellor and have worked for many years supporting clients with a range of concerns.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental and impartial space to explore whatever issues and concerns bring you to counselling.
By talking things through and by exploring different ways of thinking and feeling about things, you can change, move forward, and lead a more fulfilling life.
I support those who need counselling for:
anxiety
low self-esteem
grief and loss
relationship issues (both for heterosexual and same sex couples)
depression
domestic abuse
trauma
OCD
panic attacks
self-harming
children and young people (anxiety, anger, bullying, sexuality, abuse and family splits)
I also have specialist training in supporting Young People, Couples, and those with Addiction.

Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling (Wealden College)
Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents (Iron Mill College)
Alcohol and Drug Addiction Training, CRI
CBT with Heart, Adrian Hemmings Associates
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I abide by their code of ethics.
